All of our team members are interviewed by the owners and pass a criminal record check. We believe our team is our greatest asset, and therefore have very high standards. Only about 10% of those that apply end up working as an My Clean Charlotte Maids cleaner.

The majority of our bookings are made online, so we take security very, very seriously. Our booking page has three levels of security in place. First off our booking page is protected by extended validation SSL. Secondly, our booking form has it’s own layer of 256 bit security. Third, credit card transactions are processed by Stripe, which has its own 256 security protocol. Additionally, our system does not store your credit card number, only a token that allows us to charge the card when the service is complete.  Rest assured we take security very very seriously.

If you’re not content with your cleaning, we will come out and re-clean (within a 7-day window). If you still don’t think we did a good enough job to recommend us to your friends, we’ll refund your money.

Yes, they do.  At My Clean Charlotte Maids, we require a criminal record check on all of our applicants as the last step in our pre-screening process.

At Clean Charlotte Maids our cleaners do their absolute best to provide exceptional service, but there are certain things that we cannot offer/guarantee. Liability, safety, and the highest quality are considered at all times. If you are unsure about your cleaning or an item below, please call us to discuss!

That said, the following are services that we do not provide:

• We cannot perform services while other services are being performed in or around the home (plumbing, painting, construction, etc.)

• No lifting or moving of heavy items (refrigerator, stove, tables, etc.)

• No moving vases, hung pictures, or other delicate items.

• We are happy to load your dishwasher, but cannot replace dishes in cupboards once complete. We don’t want to break anything.

• Cleaning any item or area that cannot be safely reached using telescopic cleaning tools and a step stool.

• Removing excessive pet hair from upholstery.

• Cleaning exterior windows.

• Cleaning Mini Blinds. Our cleaners are happy to dust horizontal metal or plastic mini blinds, but we have found that they are easily bent or damaged if anything beyond dusting is attempted.

• Removing strong odors (mold, animal waste, smoke, etc.) Again, we will do our best.

• Cleaning inside dishwashers and washing machines.

• Cleaning light bulbs.

• Cleaning rodent/insect infested homes.

• Removing excess paint from surfaces.

• Post-construction cleaning. We can provide that service, but it does not fall within the parameters of our online booking system and would require an in-person visit to make a quote.

• Deep carpet/floor cleaning (steam cleaning, polishing, waxing, etc.) (We may be able to refer you to a reputable company that can help)

• Heavy marks/stains on walls, baseboards, other painted surfaces. We don’t want to potentially damage your paint!

We will carefully drape your hanging items over your bagged folded clothes. Both your hanging items and the folded items will be protected in plastic garment bags. If you place an empty wreath hanger on your front door, we will hang your clothes there.

Yes of course! Heavier items like comforters, duvets and blankets, etc. are priced by the piece.

We provide stain treatment services. Please place all stained items in a separate bag and include a note detailing the stains. Knowing the exact source of each stain is helpful, as the most effective treatment can differ based on the stain type and fabric. While we generally succeed in removing stains, we cannot guarantee complete removal. If possible, pretreating the stains before placing the garment in the bag will enhance our chances of success.

At FreshFold Laundry, we aim to offer a variety of services to our customers; however, we do not currently provide dry cleaning or hand washing for clothing.

We use OxiClean on all whites.

Any item containing down/feathers, pillows, electric blankets, dry clean only items.

We cannot accept items that may pose a safety risk to us and/or the items of other customers cleaned in the same machines. We offer Gain, Tide, All Free & Clear, and Dirty Labs (Bio Enzyme & Nontoxic). OxiClean and Shout Advanced are used for stain treatment. While we do not use fabric softener, we use Bounce dryer sheets for static control.

Kindly inform us of the items that require hanging after drying (such as all collared shirts, dresses, etc.) and include hangers with your pickup order. We will guarantee that your hanging items are returned on their respective hangers. If not, we will fold them and deliver them along with the rest of your order.

We sort by size as we fold to ensure putting the laundry away is easy.

No, we make this simple. Place your bagged laundry on your porch for us to pick up during our route. We will also return the laundry on the porch.

We do not. The laundry is weighed then the weight of the bag is then deducted.
